Located in the geographic center of the Eastern Seaboard, Edgecombe County is a part of the gateway to the Sunbelt.

Power
Site served from 2 transmission lines and 2 distribution circuits. One line is a 230 KV that feeds an express circuit from a 30/40 MVA power transformer. The other power transformer is a 20/30 MVA unit, fed from a 115 KV transmission line. In an emergency situation, site has the capability of being served from 2 other substations, giving a total of 4 back-up feeders, providing high power reliability.
