The Administrative Division provides specialized services that supports the agency's overall mission and goals. There are several distinct components of this Division, which includes Criminal Investigations and Evidence Control. Supervised by a Detective Sergeant, these sworn personnel are tasked with investigating serious criminal offenses and felonious incidents that may be related to other crimes. In addition, they are responsible for processing crime scenes and controlling evidence. Investigators routinely partner with other local, state, and federal agencies utilizing all available resources to bring closure to cases. Subordinate to the Detective Sergeant is a Detective Corporal, who assists with maintaining investigative operations. The Commander of the Administrative Division is Captain Angela Richardson.
