Dinner Barn Theater
July 29, 2012
One of the most popular shows in Barn history returns! A magnificent blend of story and song. Let us take you back to a simpler time, 1938, where you become the congregation of Mount Pleasant Church in North Carolina. Pastor Oglethorpe is determined to move his flock into the "modern world", by inviting the Singing Sanders Family to join him. The musical talent is surpassed only by the side splitting hilarity of these characters. You have at least one of them in your own family! It's no surprise why SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN has become one of the most produced shows in the country!
The E.L. Roberson Center will be sponsoring a trip to the theatre on August 21st. Seating time is at 1:00 p.m. We will leave at 9:00 a.m. the day of the trip. The cost is $81.00. Price includes chartered bus, buffet lunch and gratuity. Interested persons should register and pay a $35.00 deposit and final payment due by July 29th. We need at least 39 people in order to make this happen!
