Edgecombe Garden Club Tour of Homes

A variety of historically and architecturally significant homes  in and around Tarboro will be on tour Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  This event is sponsored annually by the Edgecombe Garden Club. 

Homes on the tour include the Guion-Dancy-Deberry House, the Dr. A.H. MacNair House, the Zander-Hart House, the Wilkinson House, the Lewis Braswell House and the Harry Smith House.  Other sites include Coolmore Plantation, Calvary Episcopal Church and Churchyard,  Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church and Old Town Cemetery, the Blount-Brigers House and its dependencies, and St. Anne's Chapel.

 Ticket Headquarters on tour day will be located at the Blount-Bridgers House, 130 Bridgers St.  Tickets cost $20 and will be available prior to tour day at the Blount-Bridgers House, The Tarboro Edgecombe Chamber of Commerce and the Edgecombe County Memorial Library.  For more information contact Karen Andrus, 252-823-5166, ext. 212.
