These are two informative sites about identity theft, how to recognize it, prevent it and what to do if it occurs. We recommend that everyone at least take a look at these sites. WeÃ've not had many cases involving identity theft at this point, but it's only a matter of time.

This site contains information about domestic violence, for both victims and abusers. There is also a national hotline number for those reporting or seeking information about domestic violence.

The first link is to the North Carolina sex offender registry, which allows you to search for sex offenders by name or geographical area in this state. The second link is a web site with links to all states for sex offender information.

This web site allows the general public to conduct searches for information about criminal offenders who have been in the Department of Corrections system since 1972.

This site allows users to search all volumes of the North Carolina General Statutes and has links to those statutes that were changed during the last legislative session.

This site contains everything, and probably more, that you would need to know about the laws pertaining to firearms in North Carolina.
